Vin Diesel Confirms Fast X Trailer Release, Shares New Image
It is common to see Universal Studios using their location at Hollywood to release the new Fast and Furious' installment to the press, closed friends and a selected group of fans previous to the Official Premier.
In November 2014 Universal Pictures debuted the first full-length trailer for “Furious 7,” at that moment the last installment in the successful “Fast and Furious” franchise, which was completed after the tragic and unexpected death of Paul Walker. The studio released the trailer in a live event Saturday November 1, 2014 after a week of build-up on social media. Featuring planes, car chases and cliffhangers, the trailer offered a promising taste of what’s coming for fans of the high-speed franchise.
At that time, I was lucky to be part of the selected "group of fans" invited to assist to that life event, and I have to say that it was magnificent, Vin Diesel. Justin Lin, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Jason Statham were present on the red carpet together with a display of cars related to the movie.
“Furious 7” features Paul Walker in his last film before his November 2013 death. Filming was under way when Paul Walker died in a car crash and his brothers Cody and Caleb stepped in as body doubles.
The Fate of The Furious (Fast 8) drop off trailer was in New York, also had 4 Official Premiers in April 2017 in New York, Paris, Berlin and Madrid. The official trailer debuted was also at Universal Studios Lot, few weeks before the 2017 Super Bowl LII's presentation.
The Official Fast 9 drop off trailer was on January 31, 2020 in Miami, Florida, following by the Power Boll premiere and on June 19, 2021 at Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles.
In another note and regards Vin Diesel and "Avatar", back in 2019, the day Vin Diesel posted to social media his visit to James Cameron in the set when he was filming Avatar. That visit initiated the rumor that Vin was already casted by James Cameron to be part of his project. This week Avatar's producer Jon Landau clarifies that Vin Diesel is not in sequels, giving an end to the rumor.
As a reminder, below please find the video that back in 2019 was posted to Vin Diesel's Instagram account:
Avatar producer clarifies Vin Diesel is not in sequels despite what the actor has said

Avatar producer Jon Landau has cleared up a major misconception about the sequels: Fast & Furious and Guardians of the Galaxy actor Vin Diesel is not in the movies, despite what the star has said in the past.
Speculation began when Diesel shared a video of himself with Avatar director James Cameron on the New Zealand set of The Way of Water in 2019. "It's long overdue, there is one person in Hollywood I've always wanted to work with and learn from, and so, all things come, I guess, to those that wait," Diesel said in the video, which certainly suggested he had joined the cast. "Vin was a fan," Landau now tells Empire of that video. "He came in, visited the set one day to see what we were doing and people took that out of context."
