Last year, in April 2023 Universal Studios and Vin Diesel announced to have Oren Uziel and Christina Hodson attached their Fast X part 2 script, which may not be the case anymore. Due to Vin Diesel teases a meaningful change in Fast and Furious 11 by seeming confirming Zach Dean will be coming back to write the last movie of our beloved saga.
While doing ADR this week on the Universal lot, for a beautifully written piece by Chris Morgan… I was reminded of the blessed moments along this journey… where bonds transcended film.
FastX part 2, written by Zach Dean… is going to hit you hard!
Hope to make you proud!
Zach Dean worked on the story of Fast X and has a standalone project in the franchise in the works, meaning he's familiar with the franchise and according to Vin Diesel his screenplay will hit all of us hard!

In the latest Vin Diesel's Instagram post, Vin sims to give us another clue about who is coming back to The Fast and The Furious big finally, and I think that according to the dialog between Michelle Rodriguez and Vin Diesel in the video the returning character is no other than Leon: Leon is one of the original five characters in the franchise, along with Dom, Letty, Vince, and Jesse. As the franchise progressed, the crew grew to include Roman Pearce, Tej Parker, and Luke Hobbs.
Authenticity is everything…
Leon's actor, Johnny Strong, has said that it's understandable for Leon to disappear and move on, just as he showed up. Strong also described Leon as a "lost loner type" and said that even he didn't know what happened to the character.
After their big final heist backfired, one that Strong notes Leon was hesitant to go through with, the character was last seen driving Dom, Mia, and an injured Letty away. Right before the death of Jesse, Dom told Brian that Leon and Letty are “long gone.”
As we all remember Leon last scene was saving Letty from a car crash and well, by the end of the movie, he had left without any other explanation, below I added the truck chase scene where Leon was seen in the franchise for the last time.
John Christopher Strong is an American actor, composer, and musician. He is best known for his roles in Black Hawk Down and The Fast and the Furious as Leon. Aside from acting, Strong is also the lead vocalist and founder of the band Operator, movie composer, movie writer, and movie producer. Wikipedia
