After the massive advertising of Fast X in social media sowing to us all those incredible imagens full of adrenaline and unbelievable extreme action we concluded that to stop the insane personality of Dante Reyes, the best conceivable idea will be to bring agent Luke Hobbs back to the franchise to help Dom against this common enemy Dante coming from the past.
Every time that the Fast and Furious current chapter is close to coming out to tethers, there are always rumors going around presiding over the premier about the script and the outcome of each of the well-known characters. Because like it or not even those that in public say that they don't follow the saga anymore are also expecting and counting all the available possibilities predicting how the Fast and Furious saga will conclude this main part of the Toretto's Fast family franchise.
It makes sense if they bring Dwane Johnson back to stop Dante, because all this demoniac revenge of Dante Reyes against Dom and Brian is base of the killing of his father Herman Reyes. But was Agent Luke Hobbs who killed his father, a reality which Dante is not aware yet. If Dante learns that Hobbs is the person responsible for his father's murder, his excuse for vengeance can easily be continued in Vin Diesel's Fast X part two including Hobbs to the plot. Therefore, Jason Momoa's Dante Reyes should also be going after Agent Luck Hobbs to complete his revenge.
Back in 2009 after the major worldwide success of Fast and Furious 4, Universal Pictures and the franchise's producers optioned to move the film from the category of "car race" to "action film" and for that reason they added a new character that would give to Dom Toretto and his team the necessary jump to move on from villains to heroes. That new character agent Lucas "Luke" Hobbs was designed and added for academy award winner Tommy Lee Jones. As we all know, later thanks to Facebook's chats Vin Diesel decided to give this role to Dwayne Johnson, who stan up for international stardom status thanks to becoming part of the Fast and Furious saga franchise. The rest is history, and now that this Fast family is almost ending it will be genuinely nice to see all the characters in Fast X part two, the final instalment.

Directed by Louis Leterrier, Fast X is set to serve as the penultimate installment in the long-running franchise. The upcoming sequel sees Diesel's Dom and his crew face off against Jason Momoa's Dante, a villain out for revenge after the death of his father in Fast Five. Ahead of the Fast X release date, Diesel, in a recent interview with Total Film (via Syfy), offers a further explanation regarding why the film is going back to the events of Fast Five. Ultimately, he suggests, F9's flashback sequences and Fast X's Fast Five connections are part of a larger plan for the end of the franchise to fully mine all that the Fast & Furious franchise has to offer. Check out Diesel's full comment below:
"The last movie really delved into that, and dictated, of course, the reveal of the brother [Jakob, played by John Cena]. In that line of thinking, there is so much un-mined territory within the films that, when you follow the storyline, it produces a really interesting and rewarding story. You'll see as the finale pans out, it'll make sense why, in the same way we went back to the first film for Fast 9, we went back to the fifth film for Fast X."
