Vin Diesel has made an emotional announcement, revealing that the final installment "Fast X part Two" (schedule in 2025), of the Fast & Furious franchise will give a heartfelt and proper goodbye to the late actor Paul Walker 's beloved character, Brian O'Conner.
The farewell to Paul Walker's character Brian O'Conner is going to happen in the final part of the franchise and even when we all know that Paul Walker will never return to the franchise for ovious reason, say goodbye to Brian is going to be heartfelt for every Fast fan, but even though, I agreed with Vin Diesel (actor and producer of this film), that Brian O'Connor deserves a proper goodbye and a proper close out. In the other hand, since there are rumors of the addition of a third chapter to the big two parts finale there is also a possibility that this already prepared far well to our beloved Brian O'Connor will not happen until the "third part" or "Fast 12" instalment.
Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto in the franchise since the incision in 2001, expressed his commitment to honoring his friend and colleague Paul Walker's legacy, giving to his fans a meaningful conclusion to Brian's story. Paul Walker's tragic and unexpected 2013 death, happened during the production of Furious 7 or Fast & Furious 7, and left a profound impact on both the cast and the fans' franchise worldwide.
In Furious 7, using CGI, and Cody and Caleb Walker, Paul Walker's brothers as body doubles, the production team was able to give Brian O'Conner a touching send-off. We are not aware how is going to happen this time but whatever ways are going to be used for the final look at one of the most meaningful characters of the franchise, fans can rest easy knowing that Vin Diesel's affection and loyalty to his brother, not by blood, but by heart, will do everything possible to end the saga with respect and a sincere goodbye.

Box Office: ‘Fast X’ Targets $60 Million Debut in North America, $280 Million Globally
“Fast X,” the 10th installment in Universal’s high-octane franchise, is revving up to lead global box office charts. The movie is projected to open to $60 million or more in North America and at least $220 million at the international box office. Based on those estimates, “Fast X” is looking to capture $280 million worldwide in its first weekend of release. In terms of domestic box office projections, a soft start around $60 million is below the latest entry, 2021’s “F9: The Fast Saga,” which kicked off to $70 million and ended its theatrical run with $173 million in North America. And that was at a time when COVID era restrictions meant only 80% of theaters were open and attendance hadn’t yet rebounded. It also lags way behind pre-pandemic “Fast” installments, including 2017’s “The Fate of the Furious” ($98 million debut), 2015’s “Furious 7” (a series-high $148 million debut) and 2013’s “Fast and Furious 6” ($97 million debut).

With all these being said we also should take into consideration that here at home many fans don't buy the tickets until they are at the theater and those domestic box numbers are base in the pre-sales only, so they are predicted to change once the Vin Diesel's Fast X film opens to the public today, May 19, 2023.
