Great news for the fans, Vin Diesel's Fast X has become a trilogy, Fast X part one is only the first movie of a three-part film ending trilogy. Vin Diesel has confirmed that Fast X part two is already in production and will feature the return of characters played by Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson.
VIN DIESEL SEEMS TO CONFIRM FAST 12 IS REALLY HAPPENING, TEASES MORE SPINOFFS
Despite some criticism and without taking it into account we should remember one more time that Fast Five, the 2011 Fifth installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise was the movie that changed the genre from "Street Racing" to "Action Film" involving cars. Below is the description of an "Action Film" genre.
Action film is a film genre in which theprotagonist is thrust into a series of events that typically involve violence and physical feats. The genre tends to feature a mostly resourceful hero struggling against incredible odds, which include life-threatening situations, a dangerous villain, or a pursuit which usually concludes in victory for the hero. This genre is strongly associated with the thriller and adventure genres and may also contain elements of dramaand spy fiction.
Comparing the Fast and Furious movies to the Action Film description we can comprehend that the Fast and Furious movies made until today are into its original genre's definition. So, come on guys I don't understand why all those criticisms to a movie that is well done in base to its genre. Build with love and paying attention to their fans' thoughts, which includes four academy awards winners in a magnificent A list cast. A franchise that it is globally admire and respect, then after 22 years long ride is still calling millions of fans over the world to the theaters to watch Dom Toretto's adventures. Also, another data to take into consideration is that even when the first film, "The Fast and The Furious" (2001), was based on a real live event, none of the other following movies were. Therefore, no were in the credit says, "This film is based on real events". So please, next time before judge seat tide and think about what you are writing about. I respect all the critics and all the comments, but I also like to give up my opinion when incorrect comments arrive all over the net. Just saying!
From my point of view Vin Diesel's Fast X Part One is an authentic masterpiece, with its inexhaustible supply of madly funny action, this high-octane extravaganza that tries to knock out any resistance with its disarming, outrageous and self-aware of often hilarious injections of dynamic shock. When, on the other hand at the same time we are also able to enjoy dramatic action scenes.
For example, the last scene over the dam bridge when we see Dom's car and through his window those masive trucks, reminds me Steven Spielberg first TV movie, 1971 "Duel" action-thriller film, were Steven used a truck as the most bizarre murder weapon and that back in the day was also Steven Spielberg's masterpiece.
Above there is Vin Diesel's Instagram post, a picture taken in Rome before Fast X's red-carpet premier at the Coliseum with part of his cast. Left to right: Meadow Walker, Jordana Brewster, Brie Larson, Rita Moreno, Hellen Mirren, Michelle Rodriguez, and Charlize Theron (4 Academy Award Winners).
According to Vin Diesel last interview, our beloved, admire actor, scriptwriter and producer also revealed that he is working on multiple spinoffs from the series, including the female-led installment that is being on the plate since 2017. And the idea already in development to have Robert Downey Jr.stepping into the next plot, and the last rumor that maybeTom Cruise will also join the cast of Fast X part two.

With all this being said let's move to the next subject: Jakobe Toretto
I totally love this new angle of John Cena's character; I love to see the uncle bonding to little "B", his nephew, while we are introduced into Jakobe real personality. Jakobe went from the killing machine in F9, to the adorable teenager that left his father's home after his fight with Dom. Somehow being trusted by his brother Dom, to protect his son, opened his heart right to the past when the siblings use to be close and united. Demonstrating his loyal heart to his brother with his amazing gesture when he decides sacrifices himself to make sure that his brother Dom can safe his nephew.
Talking about Jakobe's sacrifice, I am sure that being an expert secret agent used to working and moving with all kinds of incredible gadgets, Jakobe is still alive, and the only thng lost is his masive car. This is just my opinion and without knowing anything about the next film's plot, but I think that since we didn't see his dead body probably Jakobe Toretto has created that monster car with some kind of special jumping seat, like the ones in the military jets that eject out the pilot in case of failure. Anyways, we'll have to wait until 2025 to find out how he survives.

Fast X Review
Vin Diesel' Fast X teases Fast & Furious spinoffs in the works during the Philanthropy Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project’s Block Party event on May 20, 2023, in Los Angeles at Universal Backlot
(SPOILERS AHEAD) On the heels of Fast X‘s #1 domestic box office debut, Vin Diesel says multiple Fast & Furious spinoffs are already in development, including a female-led installment.
“I started developing the female spinoff…in 2017 with other spinoffs, and the sooner I deliver the finale, the sooner I can launch all the spinoffs,” Vin Diesel told Varietyat Saturday’s Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project Block Party.
At the film’s Rome premiere on May 12, Vin Diesel, who plays Dom Toretto, hinted the franchise wouldn’t end with the upcoming 11th installment as previously thought.
“Look how many characters and great talent there are in the movie,” Diesel said of the possible 12th film. “There was no way I can pull that off unless I had everyone on for five seconds.”
Fast X features the surprise returns of Gal Gadot as "Gisele" and Dwayne Johnson as "Luke Hobbs", and Diesel says he’s “so excited to have them back home and even more excited to see fan reactions and to see how happy it makes people.”
Michelle Rodriguez revealed that Gadot had shot cameos for earlier films, but they didn’t make the final cut. “We have shot other things a long time ago that might not have fit that specific movie as a finale,” Diesel explained. “Doing tags is a very tricky thing because you want your great talent but at the same time you have to be very careful to maintain the emotional state of your audience at the end of the movie.” For her part, Rodriguez still hasn’t committed to appearing in any spinoffs, noting, “You pass the baton on. You take the back seat. You go passenger side. When it comes to the next generation, you have to. It’s the only way to let them define the future.”
