A new Fast X video has been revealed ahead of the movie’s release this May, which features members of the cast and crew of the Fast & Furious sequel speaking to the franchise’s fans and expressing their love for the series. “Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family have outsmarted, out-nerved and outdriven every foe in their path,” reads the film’s synopsis. “Now, they confront the most lethal opponent they’ve ever faced: A terrifying threat emerging from the shadows of the past who’s fueled by blood revenge, and who is determined to shatter this family and destroy everything — and everyone — that Dom loves, forever.”

Fast X Trailer's Giant Metal Ball Is Actually a 1-Ton Bomb

A giant metal ball rolling through the streets of Rome in the trailer for the upcoming Fast X could cause some explosive action for the characters.

Things will get explosive in Fast X, the penultimate chapter in the Fast & Furious franchise, and a rolling ball prominently featured in the film's trailer might be one of the reasons. British movie magazine Total Film identified a giant metal ball rolling through the streets of Rome and creating havoc as a 1-ton bomb. The device can be seen crashing statues and splitting a bus in two while series regulars Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez) are trying to get away from it by car and motorbike, respectively. Early in the trailer, a big explosion in Rome can be seen from the distance while the film's villain Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa) looks on. It is unclear whether the dangerous metal contraption caused the explosion.

Fast X Director Indicates Major Characters May Not Survive the Final Two Films

Fast X director Louis Leterrier teases that several main characters from the long-running franchise will not survive the final two movies.

Fast X director Louis Leterrier suggested that several major characters may not survive the final two movies in the franchise. Speaking to Total Film about the upcoming entry in the Fast and Furious franchise, Leterrier revealed he was excited to direct the penultimate entry in the saga because no character is safe anymore. "That's the beauty of arriving near the end of this franchise: I don't have to go, 'Oh, well, these characters will live forever.' No. They might not, because it's the end," he said. "Only in Westerns do cowboys gallop out into the sunset. This is different. It allowed me some freedom to raise the stakes even more than they've been raised before."

To be honest with you and thinking about the previous article in which director Louis Leterrier talks about human losses in Dom's team, I think that after 23 years of endless international adventures where speed and bullets were always present, unfortunately now It's time to have some loss. I have no idea who or which characters may be that will be lost, but of course we are already regretting it. In any case and considering that the spin-offs will be directed from another angle and not from the adventures of Don Toretto and his team, of course, it is necessary to end some characters.

Universal

I am not sure if the following Vin Diesel's post is a promotion to sell those Fast X's wrist bands or just a post to show a gift sent to him, but anyways looks cool.

Fast X Sounds Like The Avengers: Infinity War Of The Fast And Furious Saga

Costing over $700 trillion, boasting a cast of 350 main characters, and running over nine hours in length, Louis Leterrier's upcoming action film "Fast X" promises to be the biggest blockbuster in Hollywood history.  In actuality, those figures are closer to $340 million, with 17 main characters, and a run time that will likely hover somewhere close to 165 minutes, but there's no doubt that it will still be one of the biggest blockbusters in Hollywood history. "Fast X" has promised to be the first part of an epic two-part conclusion to the Fast Saga, putting it next to films like "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 1," "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1," "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1," and "Avengers: Infinity War." Each of these films was an enormous hit at the box office and each left audiences with a massive cliffhanger intended to be resolved in the following chapter. For my money, "Infinity War" would have been a fitting ending for the Marvel Cinematic Universe — as half the universe dies in a magical cataclysm — but this author is a big fan of misery and dark consequences.
