Vin Diesel's imagination and creativity are behind most of the plots of this Fast and Furious multimillion franchise. We all know Vin Diesel, the actor. We all know Vin Diesel, the producer. But there is another aspect of Vin Diesel that not everyone is aware of, Vin Diesel is also a screenwriter, and his creative mind is the hidden element in each Fast and Furious movie all the way up since Fast and Furious (2009), or Fast and Furious 4.
Vin Diesel's Fast X is out and as I mentioned before, there are many key components during the whole movie showing Vin Diesel ideas. I am also able to say that the combination of Vin Diesel creativity, Louis Leterrier golden touch and Jason Momoa incredible interpretation are the three ingredients that made this movie an action masterpiece. Even thus Fast X blew up my mind with the extreme action scenes during the projection of the film, and I see the movie as a masterpiece, there are few things that also remind me of other films' scenes.
Jason Momoa’s character in Fast X is decidedly a hilarious monster. He is also mentally insane; and his father admired him for taking someone’s eye when they disrespected him. His father was Hernan Reyes from Fast Five. And he was already a pretty bad guy. He gave Dante his signature catchphrase, which fits his sadistic personality quite well, “Don’t accept death when suffering is due.”
Jason Momoa might be the "Joker" of the Fast & Furious franchise. Dante Reyes extremely out of control villain took over the plot adding his mental illness issues into his modus operant against Dom and his family/team. yes! the "Joker" because Dante Reye's behavior, nervous laughing, dialogues, and his background story in his relationship with his father are the same as Heath Ledger's jocker in The Dark Night (2008). I am wondering why? Jason Momoa's character was already amazing without the need to emulate someone else's iconic representation.
In regards the disturbing Dante chatting to and painting the toenails of two dead henchmen, we find out in Elena's old files (when Dom Visited Brazil), that Dante Reyes spent time in several mental institutions as a kid. Which obviously mind that he has severe mental issues, so in my point of view the dantes scene with the two dead guys it is not necessary for us to understand that Dante's logic is out of control and totally damaged. Also, painting toenails to dead people it is a deleted scene from Gurdians of the Galaxy (3).
With all this being say, I keep thinking that Jason Momoa's Dante Reyes is the best villain that never happened to the Fast and Furious franchise, Dante's originality, charism, personality, and unexpected spontaneous jokes that make you like him even knowing that he is the bad guy.

Fast X Director Was Sure One Disturbing Love It or Hate It Jason Momoa Scene Would Have to be Cut
Fast X director Louis Leterrier reveals which of Jason Momoa’s scenes he did not expect to make it into the movie. BY: ANTHONY LUND
There are many scenes of Jason Momoa’s Fast X villain Dante Reyes that give the audience the idea they are not dealing with a second-rate bad guy and there is, something disturbing about the man being called the franchise’s “final boss.” However, one scene that made it into the movie wasn’t ever expected to be in the cut by director Louis Leterrier as it really played as a love it or hate it moment for test audiences.
The scene in question sees Dante chatting to and painting the toenails of two dead henchmen, a scene that Leterrier believed may be a little too twisted to make it into the film. However, as he explained, despite his reservations and some dubious audience reactions, the studio was happy for it to be included. He told The Hollywood Reporter:
"We wanted to see Dante behind closed doors and realize that he is really twisted. It’s not just an act, so we shot that scene, but we thought it would be a DVD extra at best or in the director's cut version later down the road. Some [test audiences] were angry and some loved it. And frankly, it was the studio's Donna Langley who watched the scene and said, 'I love it. I love the insanity of that scene.' And so she gave us the OK."
If there is one thing that everyone has agreed on is that the more Momoa in the movie the better, and for that reason it seems that the decision to include the scene is one that can only have had a positive effect on the film.
After ten movies, most of which have featured the same cast throughout – on and off at least – you would assume it could be a hard and daunting task to come in at the 11th hour and make a noticeable impact. Jason Momoa clearly doesn’t have that problem in Fast X. Even those critics who appear to hate the movie with every letter hit on their keyboard, there are few that have not had to admit that something about Momoa’s performance has caught everyone off guard and delivers possibly one the best and most theatrical performances of his career. Having spent so long playing the good guy, his villain turn has possibly opened up many other opportunities for him in the future. Although some would say it is easy to play a completely over the top bad guy in a movie as spectacular but totally unbelievable as Fast X, there are plenty of performances out there that tell you otherwise.
